The daily activities of former raja or king of Mustang, Jigme Parbal Bista, has not changed a bit though he was stripped of his royal title two weeks ago. His popularity has not diminished either and the people of Mustang still consider him their raja.

Nepal has became republic but also Jigme Prabal Bista is still popular among the local people. Mustang is far from Kathmandu and local people mayn’t be aware of total political change. Next logic may be that he had done good works to the people. I think, he is different from ex-king Gyanendra.
